Matthew 6:15-22
New International Version
15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.(A)
Fasting
16 “When you fast,(B) do not look somber(C) as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 17 But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, 18 so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.(D)
Treasures in Heaven(E)
19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth,(F) where moths and vermin destroy,(G) and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven,(H) where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.(I) 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.(J)
22 “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy,[a] your whole body will be full of light.
