²² And the one sown with seed among the thorns, this is the one who hears the word, and the anxiety of ^(A)the ^[a]world and the ^(B)deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, and it ^[b]becomes unfruitful.

⁴ who ^(A)gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from ^(B)this present evil ^[a]age, according to the will of ^(C)our God and Father,

Do Not Love the World

¹⁵ Do not love ^(A)the world nor the things in the world. ^(B)If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
