19For in those days there will be(A) such(B) tribulation as has not been(C) from the beginning of the creation that(D) God created until now, and never will be. 20And if the Lord had not cut short the days, no human being would be saved. But for(E) the sake of the elect, whom(F) he chose, he shortened the days. 21And(G) then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'Look, there he is!' do not believe it. 22(H) For false christs and false prophets will arise and(I) perform signs and wonders,(J) to lead astray, if possible,(K) the elect. 23But(L) be on guard;(M) I have told you all things beforehand.

No One Knows That Day or Hour
 32"But concerning that day or that hour,(A) no one knows, not even the angels in heaven,(B) nor the Son,(C) but only the Father. 33(D) Be on guard,(E) keep awake.[a] For you do not know when the time will come. 34(F) It is like a man(G) going on a journey, when he leaves home and puts his servants[b] in charge,(H) each with his work, and commands(I) the doorkeeper to stay awake. 35(J) Therefore stay awake—for you do not know when the master of the house will come,(K) in the evening, or(L) at midnight, or(M) when the rooster crows,[c] or in the morning— 36lest(N) he come suddenly and(O) find you asleep. 37And what I say to you I say to all:(P) Stay awake."
