³⁴ “But ^(A)be on your guard, so that your hearts will not be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that ^[a]this day will not come on you suddenly, like a trap;

²¹ envy, ^(A)drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not ^(B)inherit the kingdom of God.

¹⁸ And ^(A)do not get drunk with wine, ^[a]in which there is ^(B)debauchery, but be ^(C)filled with the Spirit,

³ For ^(A)the time already past is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles, ^[a](B)having pursued a course of indecent behavior, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties, and wanton idolatries.
