Luke 22:35-38

³⁵And He said to them, “^(A)When I sent you out without money belt and bag and sandals, you did not lack anything, did you?” They said, “No, nothing.” ³⁶And He said to them, “But now, ^[a]whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and ^[b]whoever has no sword is to sell his ^[c]cloak and buy one. ³⁷For I tell you that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me: ‘^(B)And He was counted with wrongdoers’; for ^(C)that which refers to Me has its ^[d]fulfillment.” ³⁸They said, “Lord, look, here are two ^(D)swords.” And He said to them, “It is enough.”

³⁶Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

³⁷For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

³⁸And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one. ³⁷For I tell you that ^(B)this Scripture must be fulfilled in me: ^(C)‘And he was numbered with the transgressors.’ For ^(D)what is written about me has its fulfillment.” ³⁸And they said, “Look, Lord, here are two ^(E)swords.” And he said to them, ^(F)“It is enough.”
