Leviticus 3:15-17

New International Version

¹⁵ both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the long lobe of the liver, which you will remove with the kidneys.^{(A) 16} The priest shall burn them on the altar^(B) as a food offering,^(C) a pleasing aroma.^(D) All the fat^(E) is the Lord’s.^(F)

¹⁷ “‘This is a lasting ordinance^(G) for the generations to come,^(H) wherever you live:^(I) You must not eat any fat or any blood.^(J)’”
