Joshua 24:18-20

New International Version

¹⁸ And the Lord drove out^(A) before us all the nations,^(B) including the Amorites, who lived in the land.^(C) We too will serve the Lord, because he is our God.^(D)”

¹⁹ Joshua said to the people, “You are not able to serve the Lord. He is a holy God;^(E) he is a jealous God.^(F) He will not forgive^(G) your rebellion^(H) and your sins. ²⁰ If you forsake the Lord^(I) and serve foreign gods, he will turn^(J) and bring disaster^(K) on you and make an end of you,^(L) after he has been good to you.”
