⁵⁸ Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, ^(A)I am.”

⁶⁰ And the high priest stood up in the midst and asked Jesus, “Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you?”^{[a] 61} But ^(A)he remained silent and made no answer. ^(B)Again the high priest asked him, “Are you ^(C)the Christ, the Son of ^(D)the Blessed?” ⁶² And Jesus said, “I am, and ^(E)you will see the Son of Man ^(F)seated at the right hand of Power, and ^(G)coming with the clouds of heaven.” ⁶³ And the high priest ^(H)tore his garments and said, “What further witnesses do we need? ⁶⁴ You have heard ^(I)his blasphemy. What is your decision?” And they ^(J)all condemned him as ^(K)deserving death.

²⁸ Thomas answered him, ^(A)“My Lord and my God!” ²⁹ Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? ^(B)Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
