¹⁴ This is now ^(A)the third time Jesus showed Himself to His disciples after He was raised from the dead.

Jesus Restores Peter

¹⁵ So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of ^[a]Jonah, do you love Me more than these?”

He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I ^[b]love You.”

He said to him, ^(B)“Feed My lambs.”

¹⁶ He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of ^[c]Jonah, do you love Me?”

He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I ^[d]love You.”

^(C)He said to him, “Tend My ^(D)sheep.”
