²⁵ Jesus said to her, “I am ^(A)the resurrection and the life. ^(B)He who believes in Me, though he may ^(C)die, he shall live. ²⁶ And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

⁴ and ^(A)declared to be the Son of God with power according ^(B)to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. ⁵ Through Him ^(C)we have received grace and apostleship for ^(D)obedience to the faith among all nations ^(E)for His name,

⁸ Now ^(A)if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him, ⁹ knowing that ^(B)Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him. ¹⁰ For the death that He died, ^(C)He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, ^(D)He lives to God. ¹¹ Likewise you also, ^[a]reckon yourselves to be ^(E)dead indeed to sin, but ^(F)alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

¹⁰ that I may know Him and the ^(A)power of His resurrection, and ^(B)the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, ¹¹ if, by any means, I may ^(C)attain^[a] to the resurrection from the dead.

¹² Not that I have already ^(D)attained,^[b] or am already ^(E)perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
