⁵ God’s voice thunders^(A) in marvelous ways;^(B)
    he does great things beyond our understanding.^(C)

¹⁴ Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten him,
    and who taught him the right way?
Who was it that taught him knowledge,^(A)
    or showed him the path of understanding?^(B)

¹⁵ Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket;
    they are regarded as dust on the scales;^(C)
    he weighs the islands as though they were fine dust.^(D)

¹⁷ Before him all the nations^(A) are as nothing;^(B)
    they are regarded by him as worthless
    and less than nothing.^(C)

³³ “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel
    after that time,” declares the Lord.
“I will put my law in their minds^(A)
    and write it on their hearts.^(B)
I will be their God,
    and they will be my people.^(C)
34 No longer will they teach^(D) their neighbor,
    or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know^(E) me,
    from the least of them to the greatest,”
declares the Lord.
“For I will forgive^(F) their wickedness
    and will remember their sins^(G) no more.”
