Job 26:7-14
New International Version
7 He spreads out the northern skies(A) over empty space;
he suspends the earth over nothing.(B)
8 He wraps up the waters(C) in his clouds,(D)
yet the clouds do not burst under their weight.
9 He covers the face of the full moon,
spreading his clouds(E) over it.
10 He marks out the horizon on the face of the waters(F)
for a boundary between light and darkness.(G)
11 The pillars of the heavens quake,(H)
aghast at his rebuke.
12 By his power he churned up the sea;(I)
by his wisdom(J) he cut Rahab(K) to pieces.
13 By his breath the skies(L) became fair;
his hand pierced the gliding serpent.(M)
14 And these are but the outer fringe of his works;
how faint the whisper(N) we hear of him!(O)
Who then can understand the thunder of his power?”(P)

4 After that comes the sound of his roar;
he thunders(I) with his majestic voice.(J)
When his voice resounds,
he holds nothing back.
5 God’s voice thunders(K) in marvelous ways;(L)
