Isaiah 61:10-62:7

¹⁰I will ^(A)rejoice greatly in the Lord,
My soul will be joyful in ^(B)my God;
For He has ^(C)clothed me with garments of salvation,
He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness,
As a groom puts on a turban,
And ^(D)as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
¹¹For as the ^(E)earth produces its sprouts,
And as a garden causes the things sown in it to spring up,
So the Lord ^[a]God will ^(F)cause ^(G)righteousness and praise
To spring up before all the nations.

Zion’s Glory and New Name

62 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent,
And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet,
Until her ^(H)righteousness goes forth like brightness,
And her ^(I)salvation like a torch that is burning.
²The ^(J)nations will see your righteousness,
And all kings your glory;
And you will be called by a new ^(K)name
Which the mouth of the Lord will designate.
³You will also be a ^(L)crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord,
And a royal headband in the hand of your God.
⁴It will no longer be said to you, “^[b]^(M)Forsaken,”
Nor to your land will it any longer be said, “^[c]Desolate”;
But you will be called, “^[d]My delight is in her,”
And your land, “^[e]^(N)Married”;
For the ^(O)Lord delights in you,
And to Him your land will be married.
⁵For as a young man marries a virgin,
So your sons will marry you;
And as the ^[f]groom rejoices over the bride,
So your ^(P)God will rejoice over you.

⁶On your walls, Jerusalem, I have appointed ^(Q)watchmen;
All day and all night they will never keep silent.
You who ^(R)profess the Lord, take no rest for yourselves;
⁷And ^(S)give Him no rest until He establishes
And makes ^(T)Jerusalem an object of praise on the earth.
