Surely you will summon nations(A) you know not,
    and nations you do not know will come running to you,(B)
because of the Lord your God,
    the Holy One(C) of Israel,
    for he has endowed you with splendor.”(D)

I will make an everlasting covenant(C) with you,
    my faithful love(D) promised to David.(E)
See, I have made him a witness(F) to the peoples,
    a ruler and commander(G) of the peoples.

Seek(L) the Lord while he may be found;(M)

    and to our God, for he will freely pardon.(S)

“For my thoughts(T) are not your thoughts,
    neither are your ways my ways,”(U)
declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,(V)
    so are my ways higher than your ways
    and my thoughts than your thoughts.(W)
