²⁶ This is the plan^(A) determined for the whole world;
    this is the hand^(B) stretched out over all nations.

“Surely, as I have planned,^(B) so it will be,
    and as I have purposed, so it will happen.^(C)
25 I will crush the Assyrian^(D) in my land;
    on my mountains I will trample him down.
His yoke^(E) will be taken from my people,
    and his burden removed from their shoulders.^(F)”

¹⁴ The children of your oppressors^(A) will come bowing before you;
    all who despise you will bow down^(B) at your feet
and will call you the City^(C) of the Lord,
    Zion^(D) of the Holy One^(E) of Israel.

⁹ The Lord Almighty planned^(A) it,
    to bring down^(B) her pride in all her splendor
    and to humble^(C) all who are renowned^(D) on the earth.

¹¹ From the east I summon^(A) a bird of prey;^(B)
    from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose.
What I have said, that I will bring about;
    what I have planned,^(C) that I will do.^(D)
12 Listen^(E) to me, you stubborn-hearted,^(F)
    you who are now far from my righteousness.^(G)
13 I am bringing my righteousness^(H) near,
    it is not far away;
    and my salvation^(I) will not be delayed.
I will grant salvation to Zion,^(J)
    my splendor^(K) to Israel.

52 Awake, awake,^(A) Zion,
    clothe yourself with strength!^(B)
Put on your garments of splendor,^(C)
    Jerusalem, the holy city.^(D)
The uncircumcised^(E) and defiled^(F)
    will not enter you again.^(G)
