¹⁴ Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, ^(A)the ^[a]virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and she will name Him ^[b](B)Immanuel.

^21 (A)Whenever a woman is in labor she has ^[a]pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a ^[b]child has been born into the world.

¹⁸ There is no fear in love, but ^(A)perfect love drives out fear, because fear ^[a]involves punishment, and the one who fears is not ^(B)perfected in love.
