⁷ I will take you as my people,^(A) and I will be your God. You will know^(B) that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from the forced labor of the Egyptians.

⁵ The Egyptians will know that I am the Lord^(A) when I stretch out my hand^(B) against Egypt and bring out the Israelites from among them.”

¹⁷ This is what the Lord says: Here is how you will know that I am the Lord. Watch. I am about to strike the water in the Nile with the staff in my hand, and it will turn to blood.

¹⁰ “Tomorrow,” he answered.

Moses replied, “As you have said, so that you may know there is no one like the Lord our God,^(A)

²² But on that day I will give special treatment to the land of Goshen, where my people are living;^(A) no flies will be there. This way you will know that I, the Lord, am in the land.

¹⁴ For this time I am about to send all my plagues against you,^[a] your officials, and your people. Then you will know there is no one like me on the whole earth.

² and so that you may tell^[a] your son and grandson^(A) how severely I dealt with the Egyptians and performed miraculous signs among them, and you will know that I am the Lord.”

⁴ I will harden Pharaoh’s heart so that he will pursue them. Then I will receive glory by means of Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.” So the Israelites did this.^(A)

⁷ The slain will fall among you, and you will know that I am the Lord.

¹⁰ And they will know that I am the Lord; I did not threaten to bring this disaster on them without a reason.
