³⁵ It shall be on Aaron ^[a]when he ministers; and ^[b]its tinkling shall be heard when he enters and ^[c]leaves the holy place before the Lord, so that he will not die.

⁴³ They shall be on Aaron and on his sons when they enter the tent of meeting, or when they approach the altar to minister in the holy place, so that they do not incur ^[a]guilt and die. It shall be a statute forever to him and to his ^[b]descendants after him.

²⁰ when they enter the tent of meeting, they shall wash with water, so that they will not die; or when they approach the altar to minister, by offering up in smoke a fire sacrifice to the Lord.

²¹ So they shall wash their hands and their feet, so that they will not die; and it shall be a perpetual statute for them, for ^[a]Aaron and his ^[b]descendants throughout their generations.”
