¹⁴ And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ^(A)‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ” ¹⁵ Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is ^(B)My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’

⁵⁸ Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, ^(A)before Abraham was, ^(B)I AM.”

^8 (A)Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders of Israel: ⁹ If we this day are judged for a good deed done to a helpless man, by what means he has been made well, ¹⁰ let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, ^(B)that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, ^(C)whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. ¹¹ This is the ^(D)‘stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the chief cornerstone.’ ^12 (E)Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

³ For ^(A)we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. ⁴ But when ^(B)the kindness and the love of ^(C)God our Savior toward man appeared, ^5 (D)not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through ^(E)the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, ^6 (F)whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, ⁷ that having been justified by His grace ^(G)we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
