Deuteronomy 32:15-17

¹⁵ “^(A)But ^[a]Jeshurun became fat and kicked—
You have become fat, thick, and obstinate—
^(B)Then he abandoned God ^(C)who made him,
And ^[b]rejected ^(D)the Rock of his salvation.
^16 (E)They made Him jealous with strange gods;
^(F)With abominations they provoked Him to anger.
^17 (G)They sacrificed to demons, who were not God,
^(H)To gods whom they have not known,
^(I)New gods who came lately,
Whom your fathers did not know.
