19 Teach them to your children,(A) talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.(B) 20 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates,(C) 21 so that your days and the days of your children may be many(D) in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.(E)

Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. 20 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates, 21 so that as long as the sky remains above the earth, you and your children may flourish in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors.
