²⁵nor is he served by human hands,^(A) as though he needed anything, since he himself^(B) gives to all mankind^(C) life and breath and everything. ²⁶And^(D) he made from one man every nation of mankind to live^(E) on all the face of the earth,^(F) having determined allotted periods and^(G) the boundaries of their dwelling place, ^27(H) that they should seek God, in the hope that^(I) they might feel their way toward him and find him.^(J) Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, ²⁸for

   ^(K) "'In him we live and move and have our being';^[a]

   as even some of^(L) your own poets have said,

   "'For we are indeed his offspring.'^[b]

or the thing formed say of him who formed it,
   "He has no understanding"?
