²⁴ And when they heard this, they raised their voices to God with one mind and said, “^[a]Lord, it is You who ^(A)made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything that is in them, ²⁵ who ^(B)by the Holy Spirit, through the mouth of our father David Your servant, said,

²⁷ For truly in this city there were gathered together against Your holy ^[e](F)servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both ^(G)Herod and ^(H)Pontius Pilate, along with ^(I)the ^[f]Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, ²⁸ to do whatever Your hand and ^(J)purpose predestined to occur.

³⁶ For ^(A)David, after he had ^[a]served God’s ^(B)purpose in his own generation, ^(C)fell asleep, and was ^[b]buried among his fathers and ^[c]underwent decay; ³⁷ but He whom God ^(D)raised did not ^[d]undergo decay. ³⁸ Therefore let it be known to you, ^[e]brothers, that ^(E)through ^[f]Him forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you, ³⁹ and ^[g]through Him ^(F)everyone who believes is ^[h]freed ^[i]from all things, from which you could not be ^[j]freed ^[k]through the Law of Moses.
