²⁸ Be on guard for yourselves and for all ^(A)the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you ^[a]overseers, to shepherd ^(B)the church of God which ^(C)He ^[b]purchased ^[c]with His own blood.

² To ^(A)the church of God which is in ^(B)Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, ^[a]saints ^(C)by calling, with all who in every place ^(D)call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours:

¹⁷ Only, ^(A)as the Lord has assigned to each one, as God has called each, in this way let him walk. And ^(B)so I direct in ^(C)all the churches.

²² What! Do you not have houses in which to eat and drink? Or do you despise the ^(A)church of God and ^(B)shame those who have nothing? What am I to say to you? Shall ^(C)I praise you? In this I do not praise you.

⁹ For I am ^(A)the least of the apostles, ^[a]and not fit to be called an apostle, because I ^(B)persecuted the church of God.

¹³ For you have heard of ^(A)my former way of life in Judaism, how I ^(B)used to persecute ^(C)the church of God beyond measure and ^(D)tried to destroy it;

⁶ as to zeal, ^(A)a persecutor of the church; as to the ^(B)righteousness which is in the Law, found ^(C)blameless.
