1 Corinthians 10:31-11:5

New International Version

³¹ So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.^{(A) 32} Do not cause anyone to stumble,^(B) whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God^(C)— ³³ even as I try to please everyone in every way.^(D) For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many,^(E) so that they may be saved.^(F) 11 ¹ Follow my example,^(G) as I follow the example of Christ.^(H)

On Covering the Head in Worship

² I praise you^(I) for remembering me in everything^(J) and for holding to the traditions just as I passed them on to you.^{(K) 3} But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ,^(L) and the head of the woman is man,^[a](M) and the head of Christ is God.^{(N) 4} Every man who prays or prophesies^(O) with his head covered dishonors his head. ⁵ But every woman who prays or prophesies^(P) with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is the same as having her head shaved.^(Q)
