1 Corinthians 15:24-26

²⁴ After that comes the end (completion), when He hands over the kingdom to God the Father, after He has made inoperative and abolished every ruler and every authority and power. ²⁵ For Christ must reign [as King] until He has put all His enemies under His feet.^{(A) 26} The last enemy to be abolished and put to an end is death.
