2 Cor 1:13

1:13 Paul reminds the Corinthians that his writings, like his ministry, are not dishonest or tricky, full of hidden meanings and concealed aims, as perhaps some of his opponents at Corinth had claimed. Paul’s writings were clear enough. In the same way all Scripture is written not mainly for scholars but for all believers. It is understandable to those who will read it, seeking God’s help in understanding and being willing to obey it (Deut. 6:6, 7; Ps. 19:7; 119:130; Matt. 12:3, 5; 19:14; 21:42; Col. 4:16).
