  8. For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;
  9. Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
  10. Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.
  11. What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?
  12. But if any man say unto you, this is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof:
  13. Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
  14. And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
  15. Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
  16. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
