    While he was still speaking a crowd came up, and the man who was called Judas, one of the Twelve, was leading them. He approached Jesus to kiss him,
  21. but Jesus asked him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”
  22. (He meant Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, who, though one of the Twelve, was later to betray him.)
  23. But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, who was later to betray him, objected,
  24. The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already prompted Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, to betray Jesus.
  25. Jesus answered, “It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it in the dish.” Then, dipping the piece of bread, he gave it to Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot.
