⁶ Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but ^[a]by me.

¹⁷ and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.

¹⁸ And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; ^[a]that in all things he might have the preeminence.
