²⁴ But I say to you, the rest who are in ^(A)Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who have not known the ^(B)deep things of Satan, as they call them—I ^(C)place no other burden on you. ²⁵ Nevertheless ^(D)what you have, hold firmly ^(E)until I come.

¹⁹ ‘^(A)I know your deeds, and your love and faith, and service and ^[a]perseverance, and that your ^[b]deeds of late are greater than ^[c]at first.

4 But ^(A)the Spirit explicitly says that ^(B)in later times some will ^[a]fall away from the faith, paying attention to ^(C)deceitful spirits and ^(D)teachings of demons,

Testing the Spirits

4 ^(A)Beloved, do not believe every ^(B)spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because ^(C)many false prophets have gone out into the world.

4 But ^(A)the Spirit explicitly says that ^(B)in later times some will ^[a]fall away from the faith, paying attention to ^(C)deceitful spirits and ^(D)teachings of demons, ² by means of the hypocrisy of liars ^(E)seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,

³³ Oh, the depth of ^(A)the riches, ^[a]both of the ^(B)wisdom and knowledge of God! ^(C)How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!

²⁸ And we know that ^[a]God ^[b]causes ^(A)all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are ^(B)called according to His purpose.
